We are looking for an energetic, dependable, and experienced Bar Lead to join our team at the new CTR Food Works.
CTR Food Works is a community-focused food hall offering a vibrant mix of dining, hospitality, and event experiences in an energetic and welcoming environment in the heart of downtown Atlanta. Our Bar Leads play a key role in supporting daily bar operations, training staff, and helping maintain a fast-paced, organized, and guest-focused environment for both guests and team members.
Bar Lead Duties include but are not limited to:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant guests.
- Interact with customers, take orders, and serve drinks in a timely and professional manner.
- Handle high-volume service while maintaining speed, accuracy, and consistency.
- Support smooth bar operations during busy shifts and peak service periods.
- Train new staff members, including bartenders & barbacks.
- Ensure all bar items are stocked, rotated, and replenished correctly.
- Communicate effectively with management and team members throughout service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bar environment.
- Help keep the team organized, productive, and positive during service.
- Check customers’ identification and confirm legal drinking age requirements.
- Restock beer, liquor, wine, mixers, garnishes, and bar supplies as needed.
- Stay guest-focused and help create an excellent overall experience.
- Follow all food safety, alcohol service, and beverage regulations.
- Support consistent drink quality and efficient ticket flow during high-volume service.
Bar Lead Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of proven bartending experience in a high-volume bar, restaurant, food hall, or hospitality setting.
- Previous Bar Lead or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of standard cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Strong leadership and team support skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to safely lift and maneuver trays, kegs, and containers weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Stamina to work up to 40 hours per week.
- Ability to create a welcoming environment that keeps guests coming back.
- Must provide 3 references.
